Our history
In 1994, after starting out as a farmer and contractor, J E Greenwood bought his first Telehandler for the Greenwood Hire fleet. Nearly 25 years later with the largest specialist fleet of Roto and Heavy lift telehandlers in the UK, Greenwood Hire has grown to be the single largest consumer of Merlo telehandlers in the world.
A commitment to provide flexible service and value for money has seen the company grow year on year, values which we extend to our partner companies JEG plant Ltd (for used equipment) and Green Handlers UK Ltd (for contract hire and demo machine sales).
